Cunard Queen Elizabeth

The newest addition to the Cunard fleet, Queen Elizabeth (not to be confused with the popular Queen Elizabeth 2 ship that is now permanently docked in Dubai) set sail on its maiden voyage in October 2010 after an impressive naming ceremony by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.  The ship immediately became one of the most popular cruise ships at sea.

Almost ready: name welded on the ship

Queen Elizabeth is similar in size to Queen Victoria and offers many similar amenities, including the Queens Grill and Princess Grill accommodations and restaurants, yet has a personality all of her own and a number of innovations.

As the Queen got refreshed in May 2014, she received a number of new touches.  One of the new features we're most excited about are the single occupancy rooms added to this modern royal.  Located in the heart of the ship, with comfortable beds and large windows, the new Oceanview and Inside rooms are perfect for single travelers who wish to avoid a single supplement charge, while enjoying all the wonderful amenities offered by Queen Elizabeth.
